Chippy Repair Lifetime Warranty
Every chip and crack repair we perform is backed for the life of the windscreen.
What the warranty covers
Chippy Repair guarantees the structural integrity of every chip and crack repair we perform. If any repair we have completed cracks out or fails for the life of the windscreen, we will:
- Re-attempt the repair at no charge, if the damage is still repairable; OR
- Credit the full cost of the original Chippy Repair invoice toward a windscreen replacement at one of our partner glaziers.
What the warranty does not cover
- New damage to the windscreen unrelated to the original repair location
- Cracks resulting from impacts, collisions, or other external events after the repair
- Cosmetic appearance — a small blemish at the original chip site is expected after any resin repair and does not constitute a warranty claim
- Damage to a windscreen that has already been replaced or modified after our repair
- Damage to a vehicle owned by someone other than the original customer (warranty is non-transferable to a new owner)
How to make a claim
Bring your vehicle and your original Chippy Repair invoice to any Chippy Repair kiosk across Australia. Our operator will assess the failed repair and proceed under the warranty terms above. If you no longer have your invoice, we can look up your repair record by registration number or by the email address you provided at the original visit.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. This warranty is in addition to, and does not limit, those statutory rights.
